“My favorite burger in the world. Sized like an old school burger, perfect combination of greasy and cheesy. We go from Kansas City to roaring River to go trout fishing, and this is a must stop place both coming and going. We always grab a bag for the drive back to KC.”

“Little J steak was so tough it couldn't be cut with a knife little own be eaten by 90 year old man steak was returned to kitchen and replaced by a filet which was awesome and this was done at little j steak price even though filet was $10 more. We were taken care of very well.Parking: Handicap by door. Plenty of room for parking and all parking is reasonably close.”

“The prices are getting higher. 2 breakfast was $26 dollars and tip $5. No steak, only meat was a ham slice, eggs, and French toast also omelet no drinks just water. I've been going for years, but it's getting a little pricey for breakfast. Still will go just not as often for breakfast.Parking: Plenty”

“I ordered a catering order for a softball team and the players loved it. The staff was very friendly when I arrived to pick up the order. It was ready to go on time and a few of the employees even loaded it into my vehicle for me. I will definitely use them again for any other catering needs, or when I want a treat for myself.”

“I'm from Chicago, so we are very picky about our pizza. This was a good pizza. Rate it 7.5/10. Crust was great--cooked perfectly. Sauce was sweet and i like it that way. The amount of sausage, onions and mushrooms applied was much better than ANY thin crust sold in Chicago. I wish it had a little more sauce, but I'll leave that up to the chef cuz more sauce might have overloaded the crust, making it soggy. But, i still recommend the chef experiment with more sauce....maybe combined with a SLIGHTLY thicker crust to offset the extra sauce. My sister disagrees....she gave the pizza an 8/10. GREAT JOB.....and a damn good pizza. Kudos to the chef.”

“Very original place, with pink chairs, old petrol dispensers, hanging bicycles, road signs, like the one for route 66, which we were following and that's why we came to this place. They also have a piece of pink car that doubles as a table. A good place to eat, they have sandwiches, soups, salads,... With the sandwich they give you a bag of snacks. The food is good. The waiters are very friendly. The price is economical”

“1st time eating here this past weekend. Boudin appetizer was awesome. Didn't care for 'remoulade' sauce. Catfish was really good and the largest filet I have ever eaten. Good beer prices. I definitely would go back!”

“Great little Taqueria conveniently located near the town square in Carthage. Authentic dishes, great flavor, and excellent portion size. Chips and salsa were great! If you are looking for authentic food in a quaint and friendly place, then be sure and stop by!”

“The pupusas were a 10/10. They tasted amazing and were identical to the authentic ones I ate in California. The lady running the restraunt was so sweet and genuine that it was great having a conversation with her after we finished eating! There's hardly any Salvadoran restraunts in the area so I'm glad there is one serving amazing food!”

“Nice place, enjoyed the decor - the owners are clearly Chevy fans! Sort of a mix between fast food and sit down dining. BBQ sauce was sweeter than I like, but still had good flavor. Tried the pulled chicken and burnt ends for lunch. Chicken was spot on, burnt ends were a little dry/over cooked, but still made a good sandwich. Kids had strips and macaroni - both were excellent.”
